Travel before Shabbos or Yom Tov requires more than choosing a pickup time. Families must allow for traffic, stops, luggage, children, the destination schedule, and enough margin to arrive comfortably before the required time.

Work backward from the true arrival requirement
Tell dispatch when the family must be at the destination, not only when they hope to leave. Traffic and multiple stops can change the appropriate pickup time.
Share the full passenger and luggage plan
Include children, car-seat needs, strollers, suitcases, food, garment bags, and any pickups from additional homes.
Office and service hours still apply
Safe Ride is shomer Shabbos. Requests and confirmations must be handled during operating hours, and transportation is not provided during Shabbos.
Confirm both directions separately
The outbound ride does not automatically confirm a Motzaei Shabbos or post-Yom Tov return. Arrange and confirm each trip with dispatch.

Can a parent arrange the ride for a child?+
Yes. The parent or authorized contact should give dispatch the complete passenger, pickup, destination, timing, and contact details.
Can the schedule include more than one stop?+
Yes. Every requested stop must be provided before confirmation so dispatch can review the route and price.
Is a ride confirmed when I send the request?+
No. The ride is confirmed only after Safe Ride reviews and accepts the complete request.
